Are there land grid cells over islands?
If an island is large enough to cover the majority of a 25 km grid square then it is included as land grid square(s).
In detail
Certain islands, if they are large enough, are designated as land grid squares. This means the Isle of Man (one grid square) and the Channel Islands (one grid square) are both included in the probabilistic climate projections
as land squares but the Isle of Wight and Scilly Isles are not.
However, neighbouring land grid squares or adjacent marine projections
should give a reasonable representation of the future climate change for other islands.
