Hail
Hail is a form of solid precipitation which consists of balls or irregular lumps of ice, that are individually called hail stones.

Projections of hail are not explicitly included in UKCP09. The probabilistic projections of change in precipitation rate are a total of precipitation of all types — rain, snow and hail.
