What is the spatial scale of the GIS data?

UKCP09 probabilistic climate projections are available as GIS data for a 25 x 25 km resolution grid.

The UKCP09 User Interface allows customisable maps to be produced. These can be exported as GIS-format files, in ESRI shapefile format. Visualisation in GIS allows the maps to be customised further and for additional spatial information to be plotted. The UKCP09 probabilistic maps are based on a 25 km grid, and using GIS to create maps of smaller areas (i.e. zooming in) does not reveal a greater level of detail (rather the 25 km grid squares just appear larger!).
