Can I aggregate 5 km grid cells from the Weather Generator?

The User Interface will allow up to 40 x 5 km grid cells to be aggregrated before running the Weather Generator.

In detail

Two 5 km grid cells, if run separately in the UKCP09 Weather Generator, will produce two series of outputs that do not spatially correlate because the Weather Generator is based a stochastic process.

However, prior to running the Weather Generator, the User interface allows you to aggregate up to an area of 1000km (40 x 5 km grid squares) which permits a Weather Generator sequence to be produced that is representative of a larger area.

Note: The Weather Generator should only be run for a larger area when there is very little topographical variation between 5 km grid squares, otherwise the result will not be representative of any of the 5 km grid squares in the larger area.
