In detail
|
The probabilistic nature of the UKCP09 climate projections makes averaging of projections from neighbouring UKCP09 25 km grid squares difficult. Consequently, spatially-averaged projections have been produced using three different pre-defined aggregated areas – administrative regions, river basins and marine regions – the definition and extent of which were informed by consultation with the UKCP09 Users’ Panel.
Probabilistic climate projections have been provided as an average value of all UKCP09 25 km grid squares that comprise each aggregated area.
