How many decimal places can the Threshold Detector run for?
The user can input as many decimal values into
the Threshold Detector as they like, however, the acuracy of the result
will only be as good as the accuracy in the data. For example, if a
variable in the UKCP09 data has an accuracy of two decimal places, e.g.
temperature = 3.71, then searching for temperatures with an accuracy of
more than two decimal places will not produce results that are any more
accurate than those at two decimal places.
In detail
In terms of values returned from the Threshold Detector, counts will be
returned without decimal places and an average of counts will have
decimal places.
