Shapefiles

Shapefiles are a popular geospatial vector data format for GIS software. It was developed for use in ESRI software (ArcView and ArcGIS), but can be used with other GIS software packages.

In detail

The UKCP09 User Interface allows the UKCP09 probabilistic projections to be exported as shapefiles, which allows them to be visualised and manipulated in GIS software. More information is provided in the Reports & guidance section.
