Morphing
Morphing
The term morphing refers to adjusting the baseline climate with a change factor from future climate change projections.
In detail
It is a method that can be used to obtain climate information at a higher temporal resolution than provided in the projections. For instance, the building industry requires information at an hourly time scale. They estimate future hourly data by adjusting the hourly data set with the (daily or monthly) change factors from the projections.
