Mean daily temperature

The average temperature in each 24 hour period, conventionally measured at 1.5 metres above ground level. The UKCP09 projections provide information on the 30-year average of , seasonal and mean daily temperature.

  • Mean daily temperature is one of the climate variables provided by UKCP09 over land areas, measured in degrees Celsius (°C). Maps showing projected changes in mean daily temperature are available in the Maps & key findings section for the whole of the UK, adminstrative regions and river basins.
