Information on the grids used in UKCP09 can be found on the Link to Grids information on the User Interface website web pages.

In detail

Details are available for the following grids:

25 km rotated pole grid – used for probabilistic projections over land.

5 km grid – used by the Weather Generator.

Storm surge grid – used for storm surge trend projections.

Sea level rise grid – used for projections of sea level rise.

As an example, the 25 km rotated pole grid link provides you with the main characteristics of the grid, the centre co-ordinates for each point in the Y and X axes and .csv files and images of all the coordinates and ID numbers.
